One thing we’ve come across in the [nearly] 10 years of building SolaSites is that church plants find it difficult to find an affordable church website management service. Most services charge $500-$1,000 to set up a church website which makes church plants on a limited budget feel like having a nice-looking website is out of reach. 1. The Setup Process
Setting up a church website can be a bit, well… “messy”. Honestly most pastors and staff do not understand the concepts of domain registrars, hosting platforms, SSL certificates, Firewalls, DNS providers, propagation times, etc. so it’s like stepping into a whole new world and it would be right to feel like there should be a better way.
For what it’s worth, there are platforms that don’t charge as much for setup, but that tends to require more time and headache on your part (not recommended!).
At SolaSites, our pricing is simple and all-inclusive so you are barely involved in the process. We take care of pretty much everything on our end so that you’re more freed up to focus on your church plant.
